Theme:  "Animal Explorers"

On this visit you will have the opportunity to get hands on with some very friendly farm animals.  You'll experience feeding and caring for our chatty flock of chickens, our piggy families, the very friendly goats and you may even get to groom our famous horse "Jenny"!

We will also explore the natural habitats on the farm and uncover some of the wonderful wildlife from the bugs to the birds!

Our activity days and overnight breaks are a really great opportunity for families with a child or young person (under 20yrs) with a learning difficulty or physical disability. Families will enjoy fun farm and nature based activities whilst socialising and creating friendships with other families.

Thanks to support from The National Lottery Community Fund, families are eligible for 1 day visit and 1 overnight visit every 6 months.

On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs (bookable in advance) to help those less able to get around the farm along with a dedicated "Changing place" (please bring your own hoist if required).

Catering

Lunch will be a jacket potato with a range of fillings to choose from.  A snack will be provided and drinks available throughout the day.

Magdalen is a working organic farm set in the glorious countryside of Dorset & Somerset.  At the heart of our farm is an education centre from which we offer activities with accommodation and delicious meals. Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible from all walks of life to enjoy the great outdoors.
