About this event...
The Security Institute, in partnership with Securigroup, will be hosting this event within the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow. The event will be based around learning that has been gained from terrorist attacks, such as the Manchester Arena bombing and how this can be applied to meet the challenges of the forthcoming Protect Duty.
A number of expert speakers will be providing their own perspective on the terrorist threat, the learning that has been gained, and the potential challenges for organisations, with the introduction of the Protect Duty.
Non-members of the Security Institute are also welcome to this event.
The presentations will be followed by a Drinks Reception and Buffet
The event will be opened by Chief Constable of Police Scotland, Iain Livingstone QPM, and will be hosted by President of the Security Institute, Baroness Ruth Henig CBE.
