Old Fire Station
With seven albums worth of literary lovelorn songs under his belt, Paul Armfield returns to the stage to deliver an intimate rendition of some of his favourites.
With just a guitar, a saw, and ‘a voice that could make the needles crumble’, Paul has become a favourite of Mark Radcliffe who said of 2020’s album ‘Domestic’: ‘I love this so much – sensitive, melodic, heartfelt, gentle, well-observed, beautifully sung’, Guy Garvey: ‘Really beautiful’, Caitlin Moran: ‘As toasty and lovely as Christmas morning’, and Chris Difford: ‘Your album is the dogs’.
