Love connecting with nature and expressing your creativity? Excited by the idea of playfully expressing yourself with colour and texture? Interested in learning how to nourish your body with herbs?

Usher in springtime with Lily of the Herbs and Ella Ruby. Join us for this day workshop designed to nourish your body and creative spirit.

WHEN: Saturday September 17th, 11am - 5pm

WHERE: Inside a beautiful Warrandyte retreat space. We will also take a foraging walk through the trees.

SCHEDULE:

MORNING SESSION: 11am - 1pm

Medicine Making with Lily of the Herbs.

Learn to identify spring herbs that are in season and  to safely harvest and dry. Learn about the blood cleansing and purifying qualities of spring plants. Learn the art of tincture making. Participants will go home with their own fresh plant tincture made on the day.

Lunch Break: Enjoy a delicious home cooked lunch, catering to participants dietary needs.

AFTERNOON SESSION: 2pm - 5pm

Watercolour Painting with Ella Ruby.

Be gently guided through a watercolour painting process involving play and expression. Learn watercolour techniques that explore colour, layers and texture.

Enjoy creating an alter artwork, to symbolise and support flourishing through springtime. This artwork will symbolise spring intentions.

WHO IS THIS DAY FOR?

This workshop is perfect for people with a creative spark who value nature, creative play and working with nature's cycles. From total beginners to avid artists and herbalists, all are welcome. All will leave the day with a deeper connection to herbs, creativity and themselves. Beginners encouraged 🌿

After the solitude and stillness of winter, spring brings a feeling of newness and possibility. It's time to reinvigorate and re-inspire. This potent day will support a deeper connection with your body and heart.

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS:

Lily of the Herbs

Lily is a wild herbalist based in Warrandyte, Victoria. She has been working with plants since she was young and has a background in propagation and permaculture. Currently working as a Zenthai Shiatsu practitioner and herbalist, Lily is passionate about connecting people to plants and their bodies. She has been running workshops on herbalism and embodiment for the last three years and makes and sells a range of elixirs. With a bachelor of Health Science specializing in Western Herbal Medicine, Lily provides alternative training for people wishing to experience herbalism.
