Wessex League Cardiff 2022

Registration for Wessex League 2022 tournament in Cardiff, hosted by Edel Fencing Academy, on October 29/30 2022

To attend as a competitor, you must select and pay for your tournament tickets

This event cannot run without the hard work of our volunteers, so if you wish to volunteer your time - either for the whole event or for the parts where you aren't competing - so please also indicate (in the booking questions at the end) if you are willing to volunteer.  

The event will include:

• Women's Longsword (20 spaces)
• Women's Rapier & Dagger (20 spaces)
• Open Longsword (40 spaces)
• Open Rapier & Dagger (24 spaces)
• Open Sword & Buckler (24 spaces)
• Open Sabre (24 spaces)

Rules and Equipment: Please ensure you have read the competition rules and equipment requirements before you register.

Social

• There will be a social gathering for drinks and dinner after the event, and on the Friday night for anyone arriving then
• Friday night social will be from 7pm at: TBC
• Saturday night social will be from 8pm at: TBC

Volunteering:

• If you are able to volunteer all of your time for the weekend you attend free of charge and receive free lunch and drinks, and we will pay for up to £50 of your travel costs.
• If you can volunteer as table or judging staff during periods when you aren't competing, you can claim a rebate of £5 for each shift you cover, payable after the event via PayPal - up to 3 shifts
• Judge training counts as a staffing shift and is recommended for all attendees

If you are volunteering and need to have your shift recorded, please speak to your table staff and they will register you.
