Decorate your Christmas Cake - 7th December

I'm Liz and I home bake and hand decorate every one of Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes' delicious organic cakes and cupcakes, and have done for more than a decade!

I offer a huge range of traditional and unusual flavour combinations including Madagascan vanilla, black bottom and red velvet. I even create cupcakes using foraged ingredients such as meadowsweet and elderflower.

I only ever use free range eggs and choose to use organic, local, British and Fairtrade ingredients wherever possible. 

I have been running cupcake decorating classes in Eccleshall since February 2012. These small classes provide a lovely fun and relaxed atmosphere where you will learn to create beautiful sugarpaste models and fabulous piping techniques to make your cakes stand out at home.

I have also written a cupcake recipe book : Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes by Liz Berwick, available from Amazon, online with your booking, or at my classes .

I can also provide a quote for private baking and decorating classes and decorating parties on request. These start at £150. Contact me here to book.

I also offer a Regular Baker tariff for anyone wanting to learn lots of different baking skills. Attend 5 classes for the price of 4. Book your first ticket here and them contact me directly to book subsequent classes.

CHRISTMAS CAKE DECORATING WORKSHOP 

Do you share our love of all baking? Why not join us for a fun session learning how to turn your home-baked treats into wonderful works of art. During the three hour workshop, you'll be provided with everything you need to decorate your Christmas cake.

Liz, who bakes and hand-decorates all of our cakes and cupcakes, will let you into her baking secrets and you get to take home a wonderful themed cake.

What to expect:

• You'll be provided with all the equipment to decorate your Christmas Cake
• You will need to bring your Christmas cake with you on the day.
• Liz will provide you with her boiled Christmas cake recipe and bake along online tutorial in advance, though you are welcome to use your own recipe too. If you prefer Liz to bake for you, get in touch for prices.
• Learn to level, coat and cover your cake
• Make decorations to top your cake

Tea, coffee and delicious home-baked treats will be provided  

◦Our classes are intentionally kept small (4 maximum) to give you plenty of space and so that you get full attention from Liz throughout.

All ingredients and materials are provided, including a sturdy box to transport your cake home.
