Advanced Research Centre
In 2022 University of Glasgow was awarded >£5M funding for research impact in the form of Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) funding from UKRI (one of only 5 universities in the UK to secure awards from all IAAs they bid for at that point). At this event we will;
- find out about the various IAAs and the institutional priorities of our aligned bid,
- celebrate our success in winning new IAA funding (first-ever AHRC IAA scheme),
- see a showcase of the excellent work undertaken by previous IAA awardees,
- meet IAA team members and find out how you can apply and how they can support you to develop strong funding applications.
We will hear stories from previous IAA awardees about how IAA funding has propelled their research impact. We will have a panel session involving IAA managers from all 4 colleges who will discuss how to access support and funding. Finally, you will have the opportunity to talk 1-2-1 with IAA team members while enjoying lunch, networking and viewing additional case studies of IAA projects.
Whether or not you are thinking of applying for IAA funding, this is an opportunity to gain inspiration from previous successful projects, meet the IAA support teams from across all 4 colleges at the University to find out more about how to apply, learn about the support available for building an application and creating an impactful activity.
