BUT MAD AS WE WERE, AGAINST ALL THE ODDS, ESKFEST 2016 WAS A
So, without further ado, we are incredibly proud, delighted and most importantly grateful to announce that the crazy creative Cumbrian collective that is Esk Fest, will run again in 2017! Once again this unique weekend festival will take place in the breathtaking lakeland valley of Eskdale, this July!
You spoke and we listened. We won't be getting any bigger, but we will be getting better! Esk Fest 2017 promises to bring together local business, from musical marvels to art installations, amazing grazing, brilliant brews, crafty cocktail concoctions, dad dancing, breathtaking busking, crazy comedy and much more... And fear not, following popular demand, a spirit bar with Jaeger bombs will be brought to you!!! You didn't think we'd forgotten did you?

There are plenty of accommodation options in Eskdale Valley, from glamping to hotels, B&Bs to camp sites. There will be a shuttle bus running up and down the valley throughout the weekend taking you between the festival and your pit stop of choice!
Local chef, Timothy Brown, AKA. Ginge, will be teasing our taste buds with his 'Amazing Grazing', alongside other unique food, whilst numerous nibbles will be available to keep you partying in-between!
In addition the Woolpack shall be open as normal and serving food and takeaway pizzas throughout the day.
Only 450 tickets are available for this event, please buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
All U16s require a responsible parent or guardian, over the age of 21, to be with them at all times!!!
No dogs allowed. (Sorry!)
Security reserve the right to remove any attendees who are behaving in a disorderly manner.
Festival-goers may not bring any of their own alcohol onto the site.
Dangerous items, including glass, and drugs are not permitted.
Parking is £5 and the car park is situated adjacent to the festival field - pay on the gate.
The Woolpack Inn will remain open as normal.

Attendants will be able to access the festival by train, car or shuttle bus.
On Saturday, attendants arriving at Ravenglass station can transfer to the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. This Railway is one of the oldest and longest narrow gauge railways in England, known affectionately as 'La'al Ratty' meaning 'little railway'
Attendants driving to the festival will be able to park in a designated field across from the event, by purchasing a car parking ticket on the gate for £5. Tickets will cover the cost of any tractor tows that may be needed should the field get very wet, and any surplus will be donated to charity!
If you are staying in the valley at one of the campsites, guest houses or B&Bs then there is a shuttle bus that you can catch that will be running up and down the valley all weekend for just £1.
