They said it wasn't possible... They said it couldn't be done... They said we were mad....

BUT MAD AS WE WERE, AGAINST ALL THE ODDS, ESKFEST 2016 WAS A ROARING SUCCESS.

So, without further ado, we are incredibly proud, delighted and most importantly grateful to announce that the crazy creative Cumbrian collective that is Esk Fest, will run again in 2017! Once again this unique weekend festival will take place in the breathtaking lakeland valley of Eskdale, this July!

You spoke and we listened. We won't be getting any bigger, but we will be getting better! Esk Fest 2017 promises to bring together local business, from musical marvels to art installations, amazing grazing, brilliant brews, crafty cocktail concoctions, dad dancing, breathtaking busking, crazy comedy and much more... And fear not, following popular demand, a spirit bar with Jaeger bombs will be brought to you!!! You didn't think we'd forgotten did you?

COME JOIN US TO BE ONE OF THE LUCKY FEW TO EXPERIENCE A PART OF THE MARVELLOUS MAGIC

Information

Attendants will be able to access the festival by train, car or shuttle bus.

On Saturday, attendants arriving at Ravenglass station can transfer to the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. This Railway is one of the oldest and longest narrow gauge railways in England, known affectionately as 'La'al Ratty' meaning 'little railway'

Attendants driving to the festival will be able to park in a designated field across from the event, by purchasing a car parking ticket on the gate for £5. Tickets will cover the cost of any tractor tows that may be needed should the field get very wet, and any surplus will be donated to charity!

If you are staying in the valley at one of the campsites, guest houses or B&Bs then there is a shuttle bus that you can catch that will be running up and down the valley all weekend for just £1.
