Refunds / Cancellations
If you wish to cancel or make changes to your booking, please contact Sailing Logic on 023 8033 0999 or info@sailinglogic.co.uk.
Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the event starts are eligible for a 75% refund.
Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the start date are not eligible for a refund, but please contact us.
This course has a minimum number of participants in order to run. In the event of the course being cancelled by Sailing Logic Events Ltd or the swimming pool facility, we will endeavour to find an alternative course for you on the same dates, alternative dates to which you agree or we will issue you with a full refund for the course fee paid. Additional travel or accommodation costs incurred by you are not covered, so you should ensure you make flexible arrangements.
 
Right Of Refusal
Based on the medical information you provide to us, we may seek further medical advice or adapt the course slightly to accommodate you and we reserve the right to refuse your booking. In most cases a medical condition will not prevent you from taking part, but we simply ensure that the course instructor is aware of any conditions and how to treat them. In the unlikely event we refuse your booking, you will receive a full refund.
 

Use of Your Personal Data

Sailing Logic will keep a copy of all the information you provide to us in your booking form. In addition, some of your details will be provided to the course skipper in accordance with our safety policy. Some details are also provided to the RYA for certification purposes (to ensure eligibility for courses and for verification should you lose your certificate and need a replacement). If you wish to review / change the information we hold about you, please contact us.
This is how we use your personal data:

• Mobile telephone number. We only use your mobile number to contact you with queries relating to your booking, to advise you of changes to the published programme or to contact you on the day if you are running late, to see if we can offer travel advice.  You will not be contacted for marketing purposes. Your number will be provided to the course instructor and the RYA. It will not not be passed or sold to any other third party. 
• Email address. We will use your email address to contact you with more course information as your course approaches. If you opt-in to receive further information from us, we will use your email address to send you our e-newsletter.  If you do not wish to receive the newsletter but still wish to be kept informed of relevant courses, we will keep your email address on file to contact you with regard to suitable opportunities. Your email address will never be sold but it will be provided to the RYA. 
• Home address. Your address may be required to process credit/debit card payments, and occasionally we need to post out course information, lost property or gifts. Your address details will never be sold, but will be provided to the RYA.
• Emergency contact details. A copy of your emergency contact details will be given to the course instructor. These people will never be contacted except in an emergency. 
• Health/dietary comments. A copy of any special requirements you have will be kept on file and given to your course instructor.
• Date of Birth. This is provided to the RYA as part of the certification eligibility check.
