CELTIC EXPLORER - COWES TO DUBLIN Difficulty ratingDifficulty rating

On our first voyage, we will be spending the first day in Cowes getting to know the boat and the rest of the crew, and then we will be setting sail down the Solent into the English Channel, along the coast to the Scillys, where we can spend some time exploring. We will then be heading across the Irish Sea for a few days towards Dublin, where we will have a few days onboard to explore before you depart.

Scillonian Cross   Scilly IslesScilly Isles

These islands were at the hub of an almost forgotten civilization stretching across the Western Atlantic from the Hebrides in the north to Galicia in the south. The Isles of Scilly became a kind of Neolithic service station at the heart of this vast diaspora, offering a safe haven for vessels plying their trade across the Atlantic more than a thousand years before Christopher Columbus set sail.

Eire Flag   Irish Coast & DublinDublin

The special feature of Ireland is the cultural heritage with Celtic ruins, medieval castles and beautiful dramatic landscapes. The myths, beautiful music, cozy pubs and the hospitality of the people make Ireland ideal for a special sailing holiday. The acclaimed coast of Ireland, from the rugged cliffs of Cork to the secluded peninsula in the northwest has great appeal.
