This training day is an ideal opportunity for your school subject leaders to have a full day to focus upon their key subject alongside teachers within the relevant key stages.

These two subject focus training days have been developed and will be delivered by Kyra SLE’s (Specialist Leaders of Education).

Workshops which include the following themes:

1. The teaching of reading skills

2. Spelling: using support materials, teaching,  Learning and marking for independence 

3.   Grammar subject knowledge and application into the wider curriculum
