Course outline:


*      The theory to support the use of visuals


*      Exploring different types of visual support


*      Practical examples of the different types of visual supports and how they can be used.


*      Lots of examples to look at and discuss.


 


Learning outcomes:


By the end of this course you will


ü  Understand more about the theory supporting the use of visuals with children with autism and other communication difficulties.


ü  Have an understanding of a range of visual supports and how they can be used.


ü  Be able to take away practical ideas to use with your child and in your setting.
