1. Refunds can only be issued in the event of show cancellation.

House Rules

1. Please have mobile phones switched off during performances for the benefit of performers to deliver as good a set as possible and for the audience to enjoy then show without interruption

2. The organisers of Tennent's Comedy Basement and The Gong Show rent the venue for the purpose of putting on the show. The venue is not owned by the organisers of Tennent's Comedy Basement and as such the management and staff of Tennents Bar reserve the right to ask members of the audience to leave should the become disruptive or have had too much to drink. 

3. All acts are booked to perform on our shows as they have proven themselves to be funny and capable. If for any reason you don't find a particular act funny..its maybe just because the subject of their set doesn't relate or appeal to your particular sense of humour. Please respect that and don't heckle just to be rude.

4. Performing stand up comedy in front of a group of strangers is tough (no matter how easy some comedians make it look) so give plenty of encouragement and love to the acts as I can assure you it will rub off on them and make sure they will all give you a performance to remember;
