This training course is aimed at beer lovers (both experienced and less experienced), who want to understand more about different beer styles.

By the end of this course, you will be able to

·         State how beer is made and the ingredients used

·         Explain how the variations impact on the flavour in beer

·         With the help of notes, indicate which beer styles originate from which country

·         Describe the differences between the beers tasted. 

To the standards of CAMRA 

In total, 6 beers will be tasted.

At the end of the course, you have the option of gaining a Certificate of Attendance or, after taking a quiz, a Certificate of Competency. The course is independently accredited by People 1st, who are part of the Guild of Hospitality. This course last around 3.5 hours.

No prior experience is necessary. The venue will be downstairs at the Bohemia, home of the London Brewing Co.
