Caring for the Carer

With Susie Donaldson

Susie Donaldson Dip in Counselling & Counselling Supervision BACP & MBACP

Healing the wounded heart

Although for many carers, caring can have positive and rewarding aspects, there are lots of reasons why caring can also leave you needing support. Caring can have an impact on many aspects of your life.

Caring can make you physically and emotionally exhausted and lead to stress, depression and other mental health issues. It can also have a huge affect on all your relationships.

This day is intended to help you recognise the early signs of burnout and equip you to resource yourself, in order that you might find balance - physically, emotionally and spiritually. It will include times of input, quiet meditation and space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Mulberry House.

Susie is the Director of Inspire Counselling and Training in Ipswich, and also Director of Training standards with Barnabus Counselling Training. She is also an External Verifier for The Counselling and Pshychotherapy Central Awarding body. Susie is a wife, mum and step mum.

£25.00 to include coffee on arrival, and buffet lunch with tea or coffee. 10.00am - 4.00pm
