Tim Edey, a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominee for Best Musician 2018, headlines the opening night concert of the 5th annual Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival with support from the outstanding 5-piece group LAS, who combine lively music numbers with beautifully arranged Scottish Gàidhlig/Irish language songs and Scottish stepdance/sean-nós dance routines, and BBC Radio Scotland's Young Musician of the Year 2018, singer Hannah Rarity and her band.

The Festival Marquee is located at Creebridge House Hotel in Minnigaff. There is limited parking at Creebridge House Hotel however the venue is just a short walking distance from Minnigaff and Newton Stewart via the shortcut on Millcroft Road.
