Insomnia in Cancer
I will review contemporary understanding of the pathophysiology and treatment of chronic insomnia in cancer patients. I will also explore the role of insomnia in the development of co-morbid psychiatric symptoms in this population.
Biography
Dr Fleming is a Lecturer in Psychology in the School of Psychological Sciences and Health, University of Strathclyde. Her primary research interests focus on the etiology and treatment of chronic insomnia in cancer patients, and the interaction between sleep disturbance and mental health.
