Thank you so so much for your wonderful talks today. Your and energy, enthusiasm light up the subject and your skill in delivering the stories is quite amazing. Everyone was truly delighted. I will pass on your card to Trinity School and Torquay boys grammar and really look forward to having you come and stay again for more talks when your timetable allows.

I hope you have arrived home safely and can relax a little after all that effort.

We attended Mr. Lloyd's talk at Kimbolton School tonight and my son Gabriel, who will turn 10 tomorrow, was a more than attentive fan in the front row, as were all four of my children. I just wanted to thank Mr. Lloyd for his extremely interesting and informative presentation; I have rarely seen Gabriel so engaged and invested in anything not related to sport before, and he has now announced that he wants to study history in college. The entire presentation was great and I am so glad we attended. We have purchased the book and a few of the wall books, but I think we may have just begun our collection of What on Earth materials. A tour-de-force last night (which one comes to expect but it’s always amazing how you manage such a fast and informative delivery without seemingly drawing breath!)

Dear What On Earth Team

I am Aidan Bartholomew, a 14 year old boy who goes to Emanuel. Christopher Lloyd came to our school to give a talk, and as I am an academic scholar, it was compulsory for me to go. I really dreaded it, and thought that it would be boring. However, to my pleasant surprise the talk was one of the most interesting talks I have ever listened to. It sparked in me a real interest in history and current events, so much so that I went home and got the What On Earth Happened Wallbook and the full book. I proceeded to read the full book cover to cover, consulting the wall book for context. Not only has it sparked a profound interest for history, but it enlightened and inspired me. The book is very well written and laid out, and the concept of the timeline is excellent. I also enjoy the many drawings and photos on both wall book and normal book. I’d just like to thank Christopher Lloyd for being so compelling, and the What On Earth team for bringing to me such a wonderful product. I will continue to promote these books and give them to my friends and family, as they are something that I think everyone should be exposed to. I love the biological information as well as the political side, and it is an all-round fulfilling read, filling me with interesting factoids and opinions. I have chosen GCSE for history and will likely go on to study it at A-level. Thanks again for what you are doing and for inspiring me.
