Help create a world without barriers for Deaf Children.
Neve Mann is a Tonbridge Mum whose son Henry (4) was diagnosed in April 2017 with moderate to severe, late onset deafness. He now wears bilateral hearing aids. The information, advice & support we have received from the National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS) & our local branch, has been second to none and I can honestly say I'm not sure how we would have coped without them as we learn to adapt our lifestyle to accommodate his needs.
To show my appreciation to this Charity, I'm challenging myself to a Great China Wall trek later this year. I'll be trekking 5-8 hours a day for 5 consecutive days and climbing over 10,000 steps.
There are more than 45,000 deaf children in the UK and four more are born every day. 90% are born to hearing parents with little experience of deafness.
The Quiz Night will be one way to support my Great China Wall and help create a world without barriers for Deaf Children and have some fun with your friends or make some new ones!
