*****MIXED PAIRS THROWDOWN 19.1 - PROVE YOUR FITNESS*****


CrossFit MaxOn, located in Macclesfield, is organising a friendly MIXED PAIRS THROWDOWN on Sunday 12th May 2019. 


The competition have two divisions: RX & SCALED.

RX & SCALED division will compete on Sunday 12th May.


The registration starts at 8:30AM and briefing starts at 9:00AM. 

Estimated finish 3:30PM.

We invite you to join us for a weekend full of great WOD's (Workouts of the day), fun and positive atmosphere in a group of like minded people! 


The cost is £30 per + booking fee per team of two athletes. One male & one female.

The fee includes your spot at the THROWDOWN, one FREE burger & one FREE beverage per team member.

*****THE THROWDOWN DIVISIONS*****


Your teams performance & movement standards will be carefully judged by our judges. 


RX DIVISION - The RX division athletes need to be able to perform the following movements at typical CrossFit Open prescribed weights & movement standards:

  • Clean (anyhow)
  • Snatch (anyhow)
  • Jerk (anyhow)
  • Front and Overhead squat
  • DU (double under)
  • DB Snatch/Thruster
  • Wall ball
  • KB Swing & Hang Snatch

RX division have no scaling options for above movements.

This is a sample list and some of these movements MIGHT or MIGHT NOT be present in the WOD's.


SCALED DIVISION - The SCALED division athletes need to be able to perform the following movements at typical CrossFit Open scaled prescribed weights & movement standards:

  • Clean (anyhow)
  • Snatch (anyhow)
  • Jerk (anyhow)
  • Front and Overhead squat
  • SU (single under)
  • DB Snatch/Thruster
  • Wall ball
  • KB Swing & Hang Snatch

SCALED division will have a choice to perform RX movement or SCALED movement at a greater volume or similar mechanics.

This is a sample list and some of these movements MIGHT or MIGHT NOT be present in the WOD's.
