Awarding winning cult hit mental health comedy night comes to Edinburgh Fringe for charity event.
Monday, 12th August 2019 at 10:30pm – Doors open at 10:00pm
Barking Tales is a unique comedy night with the focus very much on mental health. Hosted by Harriet Dyer (BBC Live At The Fringe, BBC Ouch, Absolute Radio etc) this cult show was recently named City Life / Manchester Evening News "Best Comedy Club in Manchester 2019”!
Join Harriet and a most splendid line-up of comedians (previous acts as seen on Live At The Apollo, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Comedy Central, Russell Howard's Good News etc) as they do material relating to mental health in a small bid to try to break the stigma. It’s a night for sufferers of mental health issues to feel comfortable enough to find the funny in often seemingly dark times, with supporters of those affected also very much welcome. A safe space for everyone involved.
All ticket proceeds are split between Barking Tales and SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health).
£5 to reserve a seat or PWYW on exit.
