This session will include an opportunity for teachers to share their own valued practice and ideas as well as discuss or training they need to support specific areas of English across school.

The sessions are best suited to current subject leaders within their schools, they can be new to the role or well established – there are opportunities for everyone to learn and contribute to the network within a very friendly, supportive atmosphere.

By attending our cluster meetings we aim for English leaders to take the following back to their schools and colleagues:

• a clear understanding of the key messages regarding English provision;
• ideas for alternative classroom resources to support their role as English subject leader;
• shared ideas and concepts that have been tried in other settings;
• the benefits of networking with other colleagues in their local cluster.
