“The Cookbook Kitchen Club” at TOFS Development kitchen from Julie Friend, MasterChef winner

“Kickstart January with the fresh, colourful flavours of Israel with Julie Friend’s third Cookbook Supperclub: The best of Ottolenghi. 

Yotam Ottolenghi introduced his homelands flavours to North London in 2004 at the same time as Julie had her delis and cafés a few miles down the road. His books now feature on the shelves of millions of home cooks. Inspired by his mix of fresh, seasonal ingredients combined with herbs and spices previously unknown to her, Julie recreated many of Yotam’s dishes for her private dining and deli customers. 

Look forward to a riot of Middle Eastern flavours, tastes and bright colours - perfect for the New Year after the riches of a British Christmas. 

Julie has been cooking professionally since winning BBC MasterChef in 1997 and is bringing a series of these cookbook supperclubs, showcasing her favourite food writers, to the TOFS development kitchen.
