Bitters distillery cocktail demo

Have you ever looked at a bottle of Angostura Bitters and wondered what on earth you would do with it?

Well, over recent years there’s been an explosion not just of gin but also cocktail bitter brands coming to the market. One of those brands is Bitter Union, headed up by Tom Moore. We first met Tom back in 2018 at a gin festival in St Albans and ever since then we have stocked the full range of Bitter Union bitters in the distillery shop. Beautifully packaged, these little bottles hold highly aromatic, concentrated liquids that as the name suggests are also bitter to the taste making them perfect additions to gin when creating different cocktails.

We’re delighted that Tom is going to join us in the distillery for our next FREE cocktail demo where he’ll explain the process of making as well as assisting Ben in demonstrating three delicious cocktails which feature Bitter Union bitters, which of course, you’ll get to try

We have two sessions at 1pm and 3pm. Each session will last approx 45-60 mins.

Sessions are free to attend and each one is limited to 16 people. Please only sign up if you know you can definitely attend as they are very popular and we need to know how many mini cocktails to make! Over 18s only.

Now the strict bit! In the past we’ve had a few no shows for booked places – this not only stops others from attending but it means we have wasted stock which ultimate costs. We want to continue to offer these events free but will have to review the situation in the future if people book places but don’t turn up or cancel last minute. Sometimes this cannot be avoided and we do understand that. Over 18s only.
