Trauma Informed Transition: Session 1

Trauma Informed Transition: Session 1

Tuesday, 19th May 2020

Event description

The Mobilise team, supported by many county services, agencies and charities, will be facilitating this virtual session that is open to all schools in Lincolnshire (NOT just schools registered as part of Mobilise projects) on how staff can prepare for the return of its staff and pupils, who may be experiencing grief or loss (whether that is the loss of a family member, loss of routine, loss of friendship, loss of certainty or anxiety at leaving home). Discussion will centre on some evidence-based reading, centred on the neuro-sequential model (sent in advance with the Zoom link), including the importance of co- and self-regulation. The session should be attended by the member of staff you feel is the most appropriate and in a position to disseminate it with other members of your team.

Please choose the date and time best suited to you.

Session 2 (w/b 15th and 22nd June) – staff well-being

Session 3 (dates tbc) – behaviour as communication and the importance of a relational/restorative approach.
