On Line Tall Building Alarm Responder Training (4 hours)
The purpose of this course is to equip those responding staff in Tall Buildings, that are tasked with investigating fire alarm signals with knowledge and understanding of the risks. The course will cover:
1. Fire dynamics in Tall Buildings, including flashover, backdraughts and wind driven fires
2. How Fire Alarms Work, including 2 stage alarms, investigation period, etc
3. Dynamic risk assessment and process for alarm responding, including use of lifts/elevators
4. Door opening procedures
5. Use of hand held fire extinguishers
6. The role and operations of the Fire & Rescue Service
Every delegate will receive a CPD certificate of attendance.
