Who is this course for?

Parents of children with autism or communication difficulties, or those displaying sensory processing issues.

What will you learn?

Introduction to Sensory Processing

Session 1 – 7/12/2020 6.00-7.30pm

Supporting your child with their sensory needs

Session 2 – 19/1/2021 – 6.00-7.30pm

This 2 part interactive webinar will firstly help you understand what is meant by sensory processing, how it can present in children with autism and how it can affect their learning and engagement.  The second part of this training will explore ways to support sensory processing differences in children with autism.

You will be given an overview of sensory processing theory and behavioural indicators which may suggest sensory processing differences.

These two sessions will be delivered by our Occupational Therapist who is an advanced practitioner in Ayres Sensory Integration.
