What is KUF?
This is a national programme commission by The Department of Health and the Ministry of Justice and developed by Institute of Mental Health, Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, Emergence and Open University to help support the needs and reduce the stigma of someone with a diagnosis of a personality disorder.
Format of the course
KUF is an interactive course with three facilitated training days and some additional modules which are accessed via the Open University Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
Who is the course for?
The course is open to both service users and individuals who work or support people with a personality disorder.
We are particularly keen to hear from people from minority groups to continue to promote an inclusive environment. For those who are employed, it is important that you line manager is aware of the time needed to complete the online VLE work so that you get the best out of the course.
Fees
This course is funded for people who work or live in Kent however we do have some places if you live and work outside of the Kent area but there is a charge of £325. You can get an early booking discount by adding the coder. EBC3-16
