UNVEILING Arts Festival

UNVEILING Arts Festival

Friday July 17th – Saturday July 18th 2015
Cross Street Baptist Church

Event description

The UNVEILING concept is to present the character, indeed the heart, of God and to present the Gospel through the creative arts. A group of artists, all followers of Christ, pray/meditate on a theme then create work to share their revelations. The theme for this first edition of the UNVEILING Arts Festival is "Light in the darkness".

This festival is for those who are interested in Christianity, in the idea of a personal God and/or passionate about the creative arts. We believe that the creative arts are a powerful medium for sharing ideas and touching hearts.

UNVEILING will present a high standard of artistry across music, dance, photography and other forms. There will be three distinct Sessions, as follows:

Session 1 featuring Baliva, Ikoustic, Zanna Evans and MrClottey _ Friday 17 July _ doors open 7.30pm
Session 2 featuring EIC Dance Theatre, Mariam Maz and Joanne Clara _ Saturday 18 July _ doors open 10.30am
Session 3 featuring Baliva, EIC Dance Theatre and a play by Emily Barroso _ Saturday 18 July _ doors open 5pm

The UNVEILING Arts Festival takes place in a large hall at Cross Street Baptist church, in Islington. Photography and fixed media pieces by Janssem Cardoso and Christopher Joseph will be on display throughout the festival. There will also be Singing and Craft workshops in Session 2.

Do join us for a thought-provoking, fun and uplifting experience!
