Reverse Rett’s 11th London Gala Event, sponsored by Taysha Gene Therapies, will take place on Friday 3rd December 2021 at the stunning venue of Church House, in the heart of Westminster.

Taking place after an immensely challenging two years, this event will finally bring us together once again for a long- awaited and much-needed festive celebration, kicking off the Christmas party season in style!

The evening will comprise of an elegant drinks reception, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner, coffee to accompany a brief speaking programme, and finally dancing to round off the festivities until carriages at midnight.

Punctuating the delectable food and drink will be live entertainment including first-class comedy from the ridiculously talented and hugely popular writer, actor and comedian Kerry Godliman, stunning visual illusions from Laura London, mesmerising stage magic from critically acclaimed Magical Bones, original live music from singer-songwriter David Ford and medleys-to-get-you-moving from phenomenal musicians, Thrill Collins. 

Alongside the entertainment, our dynamic quick-fire reverse auction, incredible prizes in our silent auction and raffle, and a photo booth for guests to capture some fantastic memories, guarantee a night to remember!

For the safety and peace-of-mind of all our guests, many of whom are protecting vulnerable children/adults at home, guests must provide evidence of double-vaccination prior to the event and temperatures will be taken on entry. 

 

Our annual London Gala is always a key moment in our calendar, but never more so than this year. After the challenges we have all faced during the pandemic, this event is an opportunity to reflect on the incredible resilience and strength within the Rett community and to look forward with renewed hope and determination to the exciting landscape ahead.

And it IS exciting. At a time when gene therapy clinical trials are on the horizon; when here in London the CIPP Rett Centre continues to deliver world-class health management and critical research; when we no longer speak of 'finding' a cure but about how to deliver it to all those with Rett: this is a time for hope and commitment.

In short, there has never been a better, more exciting time, to get involved.
