This course will explore current thinking, research and analysis around effectively developing and deploying teaching assistants.  There will be a specific focus on how this can be applied as part of a school’s SEND provision to support pupil needs.  The course will provide practical examples and case studies of best practice, both whole school and classroom focused.  

It is suitable for staff working with both primary and secondary ages and in mainstream and special school settings.
