Booking Terms and Conditions

Booking will only be confirmed on confirmation of your eligibility by the funding partner - Eligible adults must be aged 19 or over and living in Dorset. We shall contact you should there be any issue regarding your eligibility to receive funding for this workshop.

Cancellation and Non-attendance

Please inform us with as much notice as possible if you will not be able to attend the workshop, as failure to do so may prevent other people from being able to take part in the programme. You can do this by phoning the office on 01460 30144. Failure to inform us about non-attendance may result in you being excluded from further funding support at Magdalen in the future.

Insurance

Magdalen recommends you take out trip insurance to cover every eventuality.  The client is liable for any loss or damage to Magdalen property, buildings or land caused by any member of their group, no liability can be accepted by Magdalen for any damage to or loss of personal property.  All participants or families should ensure that they have adequate insurance cover in place either under their own household or company policies to provide cover for personal liability and possessions

Discipline & Supervision

You are responsible for  ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to throughout the workshop.  Magdalen reserves the right to terminate activities if we feel that the welfare of our staff and customers is put at risk at any time.  Magdalen is a working farm therefore all visitors must be accompanied by a group leader or member of Magdalen Staff at all times.  All visitors are required to respect our neighbours privacy.

Special requirements, disabilities and behaviour

It is the responsibility of all visitors to inform Magdalen at least two weeks prior to your visit of any medical conditions or dietary requirements that may relate to members of the group, this includes detailed descriptions of any disability and any behaviour strategies used.  We cannot be held responsible if we have not been informed in advance of such requirements. 

Media

We may take photographs/videos of your group while they are with us, these will only be used by Magdalen for our website and other promotional publicity, please let us know if anyone in the group cannot be photographed/ videoed.

Social Media

Magdalen runs a Twitter & Facebook account and may, from time to time, tweet which groups are in attendance on any given day. Please advise us if you do not wish your group’s name to feature in our updates.

Any action or omission on the part of any member of the party that is deemed to be illegal or that is against the best interest of Magdalen Environmental Trust (Magdalen) will cause Magdalen to cancel the contract without any notice or recompense.  Magdalen reserves the right to vary their terms and conditions at any time.
