Enjoy a day on a working organic farm with your family
Tuesday August 30th 2022
Magdalen Farm
"Food on the Farm" On this visit you will get a chance to pick and taste your own food, make fresh, delicious smoothies and your very own pizza in our giant pizza oven.
Our activity days and overnight breaks are a really great opportunity for families with a child or young person (under 20yrs) with a learning difficulty or physical disability. Families will enjoy fun farm and nature based activities whilst socialising and creating friendships with other families.
Thanks to support from The National Lottery Community Fund, families are eligible for 1 day visit and 1 overnight visit every 6 months.
On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs (bookable in advance) to help those less able to get around the farm along with a dedicated "Changing place" (please bring your own hoist if required).
We do have a small number of bursary assisted places available. Please call 01460 30144 for further information on eligibility.
Activity Information
We will tailor the event to suit the needs of the individuals in
the group so it is important you let us know in advance of any requirements you
and your family may have.
Full details will be sent to you in advance of your visit.
Catering
Everyone will have nutritious pizzas made in our wood fired oven, pick from our organic vegetable garden and for pudding, whizz up fruit smoothies on stationary bikes.
