The "beyond hilarious" (The Skinny) star of BBC Scotland's BAFTA-winning comedy Scot Squad brings his brand new work-in-progress show to Monkey Barrel, fresh from a sellout performance at the Glasgow Comedy Festival.
This show is currently about how I thought I could buy a house and then it became clear I couldn't. How I put on weight and grew my hair out then lost weight and my hair fell out. It's also about how British people hate self-improvement and about how I hate Joe Wicks. It's about all that and more and potentially less. It'll be funny.Stuart McPherson is an award-winning comedian, writer, and actor. His debut show "Mr. November" was a sellout at Monkey Barrel, and listed as one of The Skinny's top shows of the Fringe 2019.
"Elegantly crafted, full of ludicrous description and hilariously ratcheted-up." The Scotsman
"A rising star" The Metro
"A densely-written, gag-packed show of drily-delivered, exasperated cynicism. Consistently funny. Even, sometimes especially, when he goes off-script" ★★★★ FringeMonkey
