For one night only, Comedians wine tasting is a comedy panel show, with the added benefit you may actually learn something about your favourite vino… and then promptly forget it, because of well, the wine.
Over 3 rounds and 3 wines, comedians compete in a race to the bottom of the glass – demonstrating quite how little they know about sophisticated grape juice.
Hosted by Matt Hutchinson (Leicester Square and Hackney Empire New Act finalist) and Sommelier Vivienne Kay (Bath New Act finalist) with Thanyia Moore (as seen on Mock the week. "Quick, frank and instantly engaging" The Guardian), Olga Koch (as seen on QI, “one of the most charismatic comedians on the circuit” - The Telegraph; and Edinburgh Best Newcomer nominee ), Rajiv Karia ("Dry wit akin to Jack Dee” - Voice Mag; and as seen on Comedy Central Live) and Ali Woods (winner Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, “In a world of wannabes, Woods is the real deal” - Evening Standard; and as heard on BBC Radio 4).

MB1 is located at the top end of Blair Street, just off the Royal Mile and can be easily accessed by Bus and Taxi from South Bridge or by foot from either Cowgate or the High Street. Please note, MB1 is at ground level and can be accessed via most wheelchairs with some adjustments outside the venue.
