Colin Geddis is a 'leading light' in the Northern Ireland comedy scene, selling out the SSE Arena many times, owning and running his own hugely successful comedy club in Belfast (Lavery’s Comedy Club), and is widely known for his hugely popular 'General Banter Podcast' with several million downloads and counting.

Monkey Barrel Comedy presents a fantastic programme of shows from The Hive for the very first time in 2022. Hive 1 is located on Niddry Street, between the Royal Mile and Cowgate and can be easily accessed by Bus and Taxi from South Bridge or by foot from either Cowgate or the High Street. Please note, Hive 1 is accessed via a small number of steps and as with many rooms in the Old Town is not access friendly. Please see the shows we have in MB1, which is at ground level, and let us know in advance if you have any access requirements.
