Registration for the second leg of Wessex League 2022, hosted by Southhampton Historical Fencing Club to be held in Hamble (close to Southampton) on October 15th/16th 2022

Please note: The socials are in Southampton but the tournament venue in Hamble, which is about 20 minutes drive away and some public transport options. As there is limited accommodation in Hamble itself, we would recommend staying in Southampton and arranging travel to the sports hall. 

To attend as a competitor, you must select "Tournament Entry" in the Main Ticket options

This event cannot run without the hard work of our volunteers, so if you wish to volunteer your time - either for the whole event or for the parts where you aren't competing - so please also indicate (in the booking questions at the end) if you are willing to volunteer.  

The event will include:

• Open Longsword (40 spaces)
• Open Rapier & Dagger (24 spaces)
• Open Sword & Buckler (24 spaces)
• Open Sabre (24 spaces)

Social

• There will be a social gathering for drinks and dinner after the event, and on the Friday night for anyone arriving then
• Friday night social will be from 7pm at: The Black Phoenix Pub, 29 Carlton Pl, Southampton SO15 2DX
• Saturday night social will be from 8pm at: London Road Brew House 67-75 London Road, Southampton, SO15 2AB

Volunteering:

• If you are able to volunteer all of your time for the weekend you attend free of charge and receive free lunch and drinks, and we will pay for up to £50 of your travel costs.
• If you can volunteer as table or judging staff during periods when you aren't competing, you can claim a rebate of £5 for each shift you cover, payable after the event via PayPal - up to 3 shifts
• Judge training counts as a staffing shift - we recommend everyone take the training regardless of roles or experience level

If you are volunteering and need to have your shift recorded, please speak to your table staff and they will register you. 

Cost to attend: 

Attendance costs £22 per tournament

ONLY volunteering as an official, without participating in any tournaments - Free of charge

Attendance as a spectator - Free of charge
