Welcome to our employer webcast series - a selection of bitesize virtual meetings for employers in West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Barnet and Hounslow Pension Funds. Here you can learn more about the LGPS and your responsibilities as an employer.

This training session will help employers on best practice when submitting their March file as well as guidance around dealing with the process of producing annual pension statements.  

It will also provide you with an understanding of what Assumed Pensionable Pay (APP) is, when it’s needed and the importance of why we need confirmation of it. The session will improve your understanding and help you apply APP day to day.

 In this webcast we'll be covering;

  • how to calculate APP
  • when to apply APP
  • provide you with working examples of different scenarios 

The webcasts will last approximately 30 minutes and you'll be able to ask questions during the session via a live text chat.
