Home at Halls presents the pawfect experience for you to enjoy a yoga class surrounded by puppies!
Thursday March 2nd 2023 – Doors open at 12:00pm
In
line with our NTU Talks evening event 'Surviving and Thriving at Uni with GK
Barry', we are hosting a range of wellbeing events to help you destress and
take a break from your studies.
You won't want to miss this one...Home at Halls have joined forces with the Puppy Yoga Company to offer NTU students a unique experience where yoga meets puppies.
We are running 2 classes, each is 60 mins long and consists of 30 mins of mixed ability yoga and 30 mins of pure puppy fun time! Session 1 is 12:15-13:15 and session 2 is 13:30-14:30. Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before your session is due to start, yoga mats will be provided.
Yoga is a great way to ease stress and anxiety, increase flexibility, improve sleep and many more. Interaction with puppies have too been proven to reduce blood pressure, release relaxation hormones, and cut down on levels of stress.
Puppy yoga is not only great for you, but the puppies also love it to. The first sixteen weeks of a puppy's life is crucial for their socialisation. Puppy Yoga Company provides pups with an opportunity to interact with new people/ environments and thus supporting the development of confident adult dogs. They work closely with a select few breeders and pride themselves on a thorough screening process, when choosing the perfect litter for their classes.
Make sure you bring comfy clothes and inform us if you can no longer attend as there are only 16 spaces per class and someone else will be able to take your spot! If you fail to show up and do not let us know in advance you will not be eligible to book any further events.
