Tilford Pleasure Ride

Venue

• The Venue at Stonehills is located on the Tilford/Rushmoor Road between Farnham & Hindhead.
• Sat Nav.  It is between GU10 2DA (The Church) & GU10 2DE (Stonehill Cottages).
• Grid Ref: SU072428.
• Do not drive up to Stonehill Cottage.  Follow the EGB Venue signs to the entrance off the byway.
• Venue gates will open at 1130hrs. Please don’t arrive any earlier as you will be locked out!

At the Venue

• Please do not muck out or drop hay at the Venue as the landowner does not want to have to clear up after us.  Everything must be picked up and taken home.
• Parking is tight.  Please obey the Parking Steward and park where directed.
• Ensure your horse is supervised at all times or kept securely in the horsebox/trailer.
• Dogs must be kept on leads (preferably not the retractable kind) and under control at all times.

Pre-Ride

·         Report to the secretary to collect your number bib, crew card, emergency labels and check the notice boards.

·         Please ensure your Group Trophy Card is correctly filled out and hand to the ride secretary (if applicable).

·         If you wish to change horse/rider please inform us ASAP.

Start

• No horses to start before 1200hrs or after 1330hrs.
• The starter will make a note of your start and finish times which will be published following the event.

Finish

·         Please sort out your horse and then collect your rosette when ready from the Ride Secretary office.

Retiring on Course

• If you need to retire on course please inform the nearest checkpoint or ring the emergency number.
• You must return to the venue and check out with the Ride Secretary before travelling home.

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Endurance GB, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or any other way whatsoever.

Reservation of Right

The Organiser has the right to cancel the ride or any class, alter the advertised times and refuse any entry, with or without stating the reasons.

Health and Safety

The Organisers of the event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.  For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
