Do I need synchro experience?

You don't need any synchro experience to teach SynchroFitness. We use two basic synchro moves and build on them.

As an instructor you will teach from the side but we want you to experience a class for yourself. On the course you will do a SynchroFitness deep water class so you do need to be fairly confident in the water.

SynchroFitness is choreography based. Do you provide choreography for instructors or do we need to write it ourselves?

We do all the work for you. We have a great value optional membership package that gives you at least one choreography per month together with a teaching tips video. The package also includes lots of branded promotional materials, warm up and cool down routines, listings on our website and promotion through our social media and much, much more (more details on the course).

What should I wear/bring?

For the class room, wear comfortable clothing. You will be going in the pool at least twice. It’s best to have a swim hat, especially if you have long hair. Googles are optional. Nose clips and hats will be available for £3. Bring shorts/light clothing and pool-side shoes for your assessment as well as your swim gear.

Lunch is not provided.

Are there ID requirements or an age restriction?

Please bring proof of ID. The minimum age to attend the course is 16.

Do I have to print my ticket?

You don't need to bring a printed ticket. We will have your details. You do need to bring ID.

How do I claim my REPS/RAPS CPD points?

We are endorsed by SkillsActive and our course attracts 16 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points.  CPD points are awarded to all of our learners and are particularly relevant to those who are members of the Register of Exercise/Aquatic Professionals as they count towards the CPD points they must collect in order to maintain their membership.  For further information visit the REPs or RAPs website.
